2.2.4 Data Ingestion & Normalization

Data Ingestion and Normalization is a capability that will be performed first in the Understanding Cloud Usage and Cost domain. Organizations that use their own tooling, or compile data lakes of cost, usage, performance, efficiency or allocation data, this will be an important and consistently revisited set of processes. Organizations using third party tools or cloud-provider services may have most of this capability performed on their behalf by these tools, and may have fewer needs.
